Markings
★ | COMMON STYLES
The markings below count as "free markings", so you don't have to worry about dipping into other rarities as you mix and match spots and stripes and patches, toss a couple things together and come up with your own natural markings! Kantis must have at least 1 spot marking and shouldn't have a bare coat.
Kanti spotting can be kept natural, small, large, condensed, sparse, thin. Feel free to play around with the sizing as long as there are some spots on your kanti!
Shaped markings can be filled or hollow, combine stripes to give a flowy look to teardrops or bubble spots!
Stripes can encompass most of a kantis body or only affect a small portion with the exception of rings! Rings should not be applied to the body or face.
Larger, vague markings can be applied to small or large areas, jagged, ticked, or soft cloudy markings are common as well as piebalding.
Commonly, piebald markings completely remove all other markings it touches, and will always be a lighter color than the base coat.

★ | UNCOMMON STYLES
Uncommon markings serve as guidelines for the types of shapes and patterns you can use, things that are inorganic in appearance or derived from another species, these markings are rather unusual on the more natural coats on a kanti.
From Deviled Yolk to pigeon marks, unusual and broken spot types that can be used as standalone markings. Deviled yolk is passed down through mantibab bloodlines and has been seen on Kantis because of it. Plates show max coverage for that marking type.
Jagged, veined, and uniform lines compose some of the more unusual striping found on kantis. Simple lace would need to be distinctly separate from other markings and have more than a single layer to be considered uncommon! Pinstriping can cover part or the entire body.
★ | RARE STYLES
Rare markings have been found to, ironically, be simliar across the species within crederia to an extent. Stars, Jester diamonds, ginko scales, and honeycomb are the universal rare traits. Kantis have their own unique allowances despite that, shimmering and shiny ore veins, magical brands, and circuit board markings.
Circuits should not look like constellations and must connect to each circle, remaining unbroken.
Treasure Map should be distinct enough from "plush doll" body and shouldn't fall on the same uniform lines a plush's stitching would.
